All terms and conditions mentioned elsewhere on this website pertain to Rental Equipment. Our Privacy, Terms of Use and Return Policies are linked at the bottom of this page.

Concrete Equipment Rentals are billed on 28 Calendar day cycles beginning on the first day of possession or delivery.

Examples:

• Possession on Tuesday at 6am; Return on same Tuesday at 10pm = 28 day charge
• Delivery on Sunday at 10am; Return 17 days later = 28 days charge
• Receive on Saturday at 10pm; Return 32 days later = 56 days charge

Customers without a Safety Systems Hawaii Purchasing Account must present a credit card as well as valid identification for rental payments.

Delivery and pickup of rentals will be charged an hourly rate for any equipment requiring large trucks or a trucking service. Customer must have a fork-lift or other unloading equipment at the delivery site.

It is the Lessee's responsibility and obligation to place rental equipment at the appropriate locations and in the proper configuration. Should lessor, as an accommodation, aid in placing the equipment, it is understood that Lessee shall direct and be responsible for the exact location(s) and configuration(s) thereof. Lessee further acknowledges that upon receipt of the rental equipment, the control thereof has passed from Lessor and is exclusively in lease. Any rental equipment on islands other than Oahu become the responsibility of the Lessee upon delivery to a designated location on Oahu, and shall be returned to Oahu for pickup by Safety Systems Hawaii, Incl. within 10 days of notification that the rental equipment is no longer in use. There is an additional rental rate for servicing equipment on islands other than Oahu.

Should any rental equipment be relocated or moved to another location, Lessee shall notify Lessor. It is Lessee's responsibility to Lessor as soon as rental equipment is to be returned. Rental charges will terminate on date of notification.

Within a reasonable time after being notified by Lessee, Lessor will repair or replace any defective or non-functional rental equipment.

Lessee shall reimburse Lessor for the cost of repairing or replacing any rental equipment which is lost, damaged or stolen while in the possession of the Lessee, less normal wear and tear.Lessor shall not be liable to Lessee for any liability, Lessee cost, expense or damage suffered by Lessee which was caused or alleged to have been caused by any defect in or inadequacy of the rental equipment.

Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Lessor from all liability, loss, cost, expense and attorney fees which Lessor might incur as a result or alleged result of the use by Lessor of the rental equipment.

Lessor makes no warranties, directly or indirectly, express or implied, with respect to the rental equipment, or any part thereof, as to its durability, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

should Lessor employ an attorney to enforce any provision hereof, Lessee shall be liable for Lessor's reasonable attorney's fees in addition to rental charges and any interest due thereon.
